When you join LIFE Geisinger, you have a whole new set of friends - physicians, nurses, physical therapists, personal assistants - even drivers who bring you to and from the LIFE Geisinger facility. Good neighbors watch out for one another, and our multidisciplinary team of professionals is on call 24/7. So when you're not at one of our centers during daytime hours, you have peace of mind at home. If some aspect of care is needed during the evening or night, we'll handle the arrangements (excluding emergency care). The LIFE Geisinger team is also recognized as a national leader in caring for individuals with dementia disorders such as Alzheimer's. In fact, we're designated as an Excellence in Care Dementia Program of Distinction by the Alzheimer's Foundation of America. Loved ones can be as involved as they are able, with the reassurance that the LIFE Geisinger older adult is in good hands. |
